There’s a pic up in the “On Tour” section of Jon playing with music legend Les Paul at the Iridium in NYC on September 10th.

Jon plays two dates in Chicago near the end of October, both dates and details are up in the “On Tour” section of the site.

In his own words Jon’s “just got off a great tour” with his sestet and seems a happy bunny over not just it went well but the fact he got to play a couple of tracks with Les Paul at the Iridium in NYC on September 10th and who could blame him, getting to play with such a music legend – pics to come..

Theres a couple of reviews and interviews about from this tour, one at the Washington Post along with an article on the Jaded Insider Billboard Blog who say “He was smart and had a fantastic laugh.”

There’s a couple more live dates added to the “On Tour” section, one in New Haven CT the other in Brooklyn, NY.

The Jon Rauhouse Sestet will be heading out on tour in September, starting off with the East coast.

Also up in the “On Tour” section is the only known group picture of the Jon Rauhouse Quintet that supported Neko Case in the midwest.

Jon will be touring the US again this summer, during July and August, with Neko Case. Some of the dates are in support of Rufus Wainwright.

There’s a couple of new pics up on the site.

Firstly Jon at the Paramount Theatre, Seattle with Norm Hamlet, Merle Haggard’s steel player, “he’s one of the best” says Jon.

And then there’s a shot of Jon at this years SxSW gig with a link to the full set of pics of Jon’s band that day.

Jon plays three dates during May in Arizona that will be the “music event of the season”.

The first two of these dates, in Tucson & Phoenix, will see the full 11 piece Jon Rauhouse Orchestra. The last, in Prescott, will “only” be the Jon Rauhouse Quintet.
