…about getting to play with Les Paul.

Here’s what he had to say about getting to play with the legend that is Mr. Les Paul.

I still can’t believe i got to play with Les Paul. We played sleepwalk and then did a blues in G. He was so awesome and sweet. I played “Sleepwalk” and then he talked with me on stage for a while and then we did the blues in G. He was sharp as a tack, a little slower and less notes but he still played very well. Still in shock.

In his own words Jon’s “just got off a great tour” with his sestet and seems a happy bunny over not just it went well but the fact he got to play a couple of tracks with Les Paul at the Iridium in NYC on September 10th and who could blame him, getting to play with such a music legend - pics to come..

Theres a couple of reviews and interviews about from this tour, one at the Washington Post along with an article on the Jaded Insider Billboard Blog who say “He was smart and had a fantastic laugh.”
