Jon Rauhouse Trio, free shows

If you are in Phoenix, AZ, next Tuesday (October 27th) why not check out a couple of shows by the Jon Rauhouse Trio.

Jon along with Tommy Connell and Johnny Marston will start off around 5pm recording for “Train Tracks” on the Light Rail starting at the Camelback and Central rail stop (close to Stinkweeds Records). come on out and give us an audience.

Then later on at at about 9:30 or so, they’ll be doing a free show at “The Lost Leaf”. Where they will be splitting the evening with the amazing Robin Vining, also, hopefully a few songs with Jennifer. So in Jon’s own words “come on out and have some fun”.

All details are up in the “Tour” section of the site.

Haymaker – Haynnifer

Jon’s new bit of guitar gear is up in the “Gear” section.

It’s a square neck acoustic made by Roberto-Venn guitar building instructor and all round top bloke Don Windham under his Haymaker brand. A pretty damn fine looking piece of kit with name of Jon’s good lady wife inlaid into the fretboard.

Pics & Videos – Oran Mor, Glasgow 2009

I met up with Jon at the recent gig in Glasgow, at the Oran Mor on Sept 7th, he was in top form as was Neko Case and her band – Jon, Paul Rigby, Barry Mirochnick, Tom V Ray & Kelly Hogan – who put on a great set, from the new album, “Middle Cyclone”, and some old favourites.

Some dark and blurry pics from side stage are up on the site in the “On Tour” “Tour Pics” section.

There’s also a couple of videos up on the site as well, both are from the soundcheck with Jon putting his pedal steel, Eastwood and Epiphone through their paces, along with a bit of Paul Rigby. It’s in the “Video” section of the “On Tour” pages.

The tour of the UK still has a number of dates to go so if you can get along and enjoy a great band play some top class music.
