New pics are up in the “On Tour” section from the recent gig Jon did with his Quartet support Mark Pickerel and his Praying Hands in Seattle on December 28th at the Triple Door.

There’s a couple new videos and pictures added to the site of Jon in action with The Boxmasters on the just ended tour.

And yes in answer to the question posed in the post announcing Jon’s place on the tour he did have to get a fancy whistle but not only that he had to get a fancy barnet do as well.

Now I just have to figure out who he reminds me of, there’s a touch of the fried chicken Colonel, or maybe it’s Custer or is it a dead president. Let us know what you think in the comment section below.

Some new tour pics have been added to the site.

They include shots from the Jon Rauhouse Sestet tours of 2007 and 2008, along with pics from the 2008 Neko Case tour and from the recent Shining gig.

Jon has a little run down of his favourite places in his hometown Phoenix over at Aquarium Drunkard.

There’s a pic up in the “On Tour” section of Jon playing with music legend Les Paul at the Iridium in NYC on September 10th.

The Jon Rauhouse Sestet will be heading out on tour in September, starting off with the East coast.

Also up in the “On Tour” section is the only known group picture of the Jon Rauhouse Quintet that supported Neko Case in the midwest.

There’s a couple of new pics up on the site.

Firstly Jon at the Paramount Theatre, Seattle with Norm Hamlet, Merle Haggard’s steel player, “he’s one of the best” says Jon.

And then there’s a shot of Jon at this years SxSW gig with a link to the full set of pics of Jon’s band that day.

More details about who did what on Jon’s new album “Steel Guitar Heart Attack” is up in the “On Disc” section.

Included are the playing credits, who played on each track and the production details.

Remember it’s on on March 13th, so not long now to wait and it’s well worth the wait.
