The tour dates that weren't.

Some of you eagle eyed viewers out there might have spotted three Neko Case tour dates up in the “On Tour” section of the site, which have now disappeared.

Well the dates are still going ahead but Jon isn’t part of the band, so I’ve taken them down. You can get the information from Neko’s site, so get along and support great live music even if it is Rauhouseless

Jon has been hired, along with Tom V. Ray and Barry Mirochnick – Kelly Hogan and Paul Rigby are playing with Neko – by Jakob Dylan for his upcoming tours. So he’s currently rehearsing for those shows. I’ll get the dates up as soon as I get ‘em.

Neko band was going to take a bunch of time off so its great to be employed.

Jon has also uploaded a video of himself playing with Joey Burns & John Convertino (of Calexico) in Tacoma, which I’m just about to add to the site.

Here’s the video of Jon playing with Neko Case on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” from March 9th 2006. The track is “Hold On, Hold On”.

As you can see Jon is on the left playing his Slingerland Arch-top guitar.
