In his own words Jon has “Finally made a feature” in Guitar Player magazine.

Jon will be touring the US again this summer, during July and August, with Neko Case. Some of the dates are in support of Rufus Wainwright.

• Drums: Kevin O’Donnell (Andrew Bird’s band, from Chicago)

• Piano / Guitar: Jeff Livingston (Las Vegas)
• Tenor Sax: Jeff Jones (Phoenix)
• Trumpet: Jacob Valenzuela (Calexico, Tucson)
• Trombone: Heather Gore(Phoenix)

There are a couple more live dates up in the “On Tour” section, in June with Neko Case and The Jon Rauhouse Combo.

Jon plays three dates during May in Arizona that will be the “music event of the season”.

The first two of these dates, in Tucson & Phoenix, will see the full 11 piece Jon Rauhouse Orchestra. The last, in Prescott, will “only” be the Jon Rauhouse Quintet.

Again it’s part of Neko Case’s band but Jon will also be the opening act on a number of the gigs.

Jon’s next album is entitled “Steel Guitar Heart Attack” and it’s release date is set for March 13th 2007.

Jon is back on the road for the New Year as part of the Neko Case band.

The latter part of January and just into February is on a five date Neko Case headlining tour of Australia.

Then in February the band is supporting Merle Haggard on a 4 date tour of the west coast of the U

Then the band have their own five date headline tour of the west coast states before ending up over on the easy coast with two shows in New York on the 23rd.
