Some new tour pics have been added to the site.
They include shots from the Jon Rauhouse Sestet tours of 2007 and 2008, along with pics from the 2008 Neko Case tour and from the recent Shining gig.

Jon and the gang open up the second day of the 12th annual Hideout Block Party in Chicago on Sunday September 21st.
The Seset kick off proceedings at 1pm, with the gates opening at 12 noon, past events have sold out quickly so see the “On Tour” section for more details and links to buy tickets, or check out the official Block Party sites at - Hideout Block Party or Hideout Chicago.
The Sestet is Jon R (of course), Tommy Connell (guitar), Rachel Flotard (vocals), Kevin O’Donnell (drums), Will Lovell (bass) and Nick Luca (Piano/Guitar).
Jon will also be appearing the night before with Neko Case, who closes the first day of the party, as part of the on going Neko tour.

In his own words Jon’s “just got off a great tour” with his sestet and seems a happy bunny over not just it went well but the fact he got to play a couple of tracks with Les Paul at the Iridium in NYC on September 10th and who could blame him, getting to play with such a music legend - pics to come..
Theres a couple of reviews and interviews about from this tour, one at the Washington Post along with an article on the Jaded Insider Billboard Blog who say “He was smart and had a fantastic laugh.”
There’s a couple more live dates added to the “On Tour” section, one in New Haven CT the other in Brooklyn, NY.
