Here’s what he had to say about getting to play with the legend that is Mr. Les Paul.
I still can’t believe i got to play with Les Paul. We played sleepwalk and then did a blues in G. He was so awesome and sweet. I played “Sleepwalk” and then he talked with me on stage for a while and then we did the blues in G. He was sharp as a tack, a little slower and less notes but he still played very well. Still in shock.

Jon has some tour dates with his band in the Northwest US – Bellingham, Seattle & Portland – coming up in December.
Appearing alongside The Handsome Family and the Sleepy Three on the first date then Jay Bennett and The Death Ships on the other two.

Visqueen have had to cancel their appearances as the supporting act on the up coming Neko Case tour of the UK & Ireland so the new opening act will be Jon Rauhouse & Kelly Hogan.

Jon is in his own words “all over” the new disc by singer/songwriter Norm Pratt – “Color Blind”.
Color Blind was recorded, mixed, and enineered by Norm at his studio, “the Adobe” in Cave Creek, Arizona. It features Norm on guitar, mandolin, piano, bass, and vocals.
Joined once again with Jon Rauhouse on pedal steel, Color Blind, also features long time Arizona favorites Bob Meighan and Dick Furlow of The Bob Meighan Band.

The last two dates that were “TBA” on the latest leg of Neko’s “Fox Confessor” tour have been finalised with November 3rd being at the “Clwb Ifor Bach ” in Cardiff and November 4th being at “National Centre for Early Music” in York.
