There’s a couple more live dates added to the “On Tour” section, one in New Haven CT the other in Brooklyn, NY.

The Jon Rauhouse Sestet will be heading out on tour in September, starting off with the East coast.

Dates are up in the “On Tour” part of the site.

The JR Sestet consists of himself on Steel Guitar & Hawaiian Guitar
Tommy Connell: Guitar
Rachel Flotard: Vocals
Will Lovell: Bass
Jeff Livingston: Piano
Kevin O’Donnell: Drums

Also up in the “On Tour” section is the only known group picture of the Jon Rauhouse Quintet that supported Neko Case in the midwest.

Jon will be touring the US again this summer, during July and August, with Neko Case. Some of the dates are in support of Rufus Wainwright.

There are a couple more live dates up in the “On Tour” section, in June with Neko Case and The Jon Rauhouse Combo.

Some more live dates have been added to the “On Tour” section for March and April.

Again it’s part of Neko Case’s band but Jon will also be the opening act on a number of the gigs.

Details, track listing etc have been posted about Jon’s new album “Steel Guitar Heart Attack” in the “On Disc” section of the site.

Along with an full track MP3 download taster of the new disc in the form of “Ballad of the Black Chihuahua” to whet your appetite, for March 13th when it’s released.

Also up are some more tour dates for parts of March & April.

Jon is back on the road for the New Year as part of the Neko Case band.

The latter part of January and just into February is on a five date Neko Case headlining tour of Australia.

Then in February the band is supporting Merle Haggard on a 4 date tour of the west coast of the U

Then the band have their own five date headline tour of the west coast states before ending up over on the easy coast with two shows in New York on the 23rd.

Jon has some tour dates with his band in the Northwest US – Bellingham, Seattle & Portland – coming up in December.

Appearing alongside The Handsome Family and the Sleepy Three on the first date then Jay Bennett and The Death Ships on the other two.

Visqueen have had to cancel their appearances as the supporting act on the up coming Neko Case tour of the UK & Ireland so the new opening act will be Jon Rauhouse & Kelly Hogan.
