The Jon Rauhouse Sestet will be heading out on tour in September, starting off with the East coast.

Also up in the “On Tour” section is the only known group picture of the Jon Rauhouse Quintet that supported Neko Case in the midwest.
Jon will be touring the US again this summer, during July and August, with Neko Case. Some of the dates are in support of Rufus Wainwright.

Again it’s part of Neko Case’s band but Jon will also be the opening act on a number of the gigs.

Along with an full track MP3 download taster of the new disc in the form of “Ballad of the Black Chihuahua” to whet your appetite, for March 13th when it’s released.

Jon is back on the road for the New Year as part of the Neko Case band.
The latter part of January and just into February is on a five date Neko Case headlining tour of Australia.
Then in February the band is supporting Merle Haggard on a 4 date tour of the west coast of the U
Then the band have their own five date headline tour of the west coast states before ending up over on the easy coast with two shows in New York on the 23rd.

Appearing alongside The Handsome Family and the Sleepy Three on the first date then Jay Bennett and The Death Ships on the other two.

Visqueen have had to cancel their appearances as the supporting act on the up coming Neko Case tour of the UK & Ireland so the new opening act will be Jon Rauhouse & Kelly Hogan.
